It is worth noting that the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 precedes that of GTA VI, a game that has one of the largest, most intricate, and most lively maps in Rockstar's history. A vocal part of the GTA community hopes that GTA VI will address this issue by providing more things to play around the map. Players only visit certain parts of the map during their campaign and do side quests or random explorations. GTA V boasts one of the largest modern-day maps by Rockstar Games, followed by Red Dead Redemption 2 but the problem is that some locations are wasted and underutilized.
